About us
The Empire Museum of Military History was founded 2007 as a virtual museum of military history in order to study and spread military history and culture from its beginning until today. We are a non-profit organization and our aim is to be a plural space for people who are keen on military matters, regardless of their age or their knowledge level.
The museum staff, the collaborators and friendly associations have contributed in obtaining the contents of the museum. Everybody can send us his/her material: military photos of any period and army, historical articles, photos of collection items, including scale models and military items.
The only requirement is that the one who sends the photos or the articles is the owner of the original photos or the writer of the articles. Otherwise, he/she should at least have the permission of the owner to publish them. That is because we would like to have original collections and not images found on other websites.
This ambitious project moves forward step by step, increasing its material and updating its content every 24-48 hours, so we add new things almost every day.
This initiative, which started as an idea of a group of friends, has become an increasing institution that is visited by more than 40 countries from all over the world and has collaborators in the Armed Forces and the Security Forces of many armies.

We will be very pleased with any contribution. After all, everybody still has the typical old photos of his parents or grandparents doing military service. Or maybe you would like to share your military knowledge with the world or tell us the experience your grandfather had in any battle. If you want it to be part of history, don’t hesitate and send it to us!
